Brunton Compass Surveying Accessories in Pakistan

Brunton Compass Surveying Accessories in Pakistan, renowned for high quality, robust usage and precision accuracy. Founded in 1895 by David W. Brunton, a Canadian-born geologist and mining engineer, and William Ainsworth, a watch repairman, the firm is most famous for its earliest product, the Brunton Pocket Transit, a compass and measuring tool used by geologists, foresters, surveyors, and archaeologists. Often simply called a "Brunton" due to the impact it has had on the industry, the Pocket Transit was first patented in 1894 by David Brunton, who commissioned William Ainsworth & Sons to manufacture his invention in Denver, Colorado. The company later incorporated as William Ainsworth Inc. and for many years produced the Pocket Transit along with surveying transits, theodolites, and other instruments. Later, the company changed hands many times and at one point was even owned by rival company Silva. Now re-branded as Brunton Inc, with manufacturing once again being pulled back to the USA. Brunton is well renowned for producing some of the most high quality compass clinometers, navigation and surveying instruments in the world.
Blending conventional methods with modern updates, the Brunton conventional pocket transit compass clinometer offers the same high standard of accuracy with an older style design. The Brunton conventional only works in the northern hemisphere unlike its 'International' counterpart, however, the degree of accuracy within the northern hemisphere is far more accurate. Utilizing a more traditional design, the Conventional uses Alnico ll magnets with a "V" cut sapphire jewel bearing for smooth movement of the needle. The Conventional suspension offers premium performance when used within a balancing region. Because the body is die cast aluminum, the Conventional is both accurate and durable. It is the ideal navigation and surveying tool for exploration geologists, site managers, mine surveyors and many others who seek a highly accurate instrument if your work will be confined to the northern hemisphere. The Pocket Transit comes pre-balanced for use in most of the northern hemisphere (see image of map and compass zones). However, if you are using the instrument in other countries, simply click on the image of the map, determine which country it will be used in and use the optional drop down menu above to select your compass zone. The compass will be pre-balanced for use in the selected magnetic zone by Brunton Inc in the USA, this process is free of charge but takes approximately 7 weeks, so please bear this in mind. Compasses use in the northern zone are in stock ready for despatch with very little waiting time.
